Last weekend, I watched a very exciting and classic movie called Bourne Supremacy.
This film talks about the story of a killer in CIA named Jason Bourne who lost his memory in a mission. After that failed mission, he lived in India with his girlfriend and wanted to get rid of all those awful things he did in the past. However, some dignitaries in CIA didn’t want Bourne to exist in the world any more because the CIA used to order Bourne to assassinate some magnates of other countries and the CIA and the US government didn’t want such sordid secret to disclose. After being framed up of a murder and after his girlfriend’s sudden disappearance, Bourne decided to find out the truth behind the intrigue.
At first, I didn’t understand the plot of this film well due to the lack of subtitle. However, I still liked this film very much just because of the music. Just like how I thought Bourne felt in the film, I felt excited as well as nervous in the atmosphere built by the certain kind of music. It’s really an amazing thing that I understood this film just through its music. Later, after one of my classmate who had watched this film before told me the plot of this film, I was even more stricken by the perfect music which had already told me many things about this film.
For the theme, I can’t say anything as I still can’t understand this film fully. I just think of myself: To be a spy or killer is really an awful job. It will involve you into endless conflicts and you will never have a happy life.
On the whole, I think, the plot, the music and the acting of this film are all very good. It was a good film which was worth seeing.

Abandon stubbornness, free oneself
Our life is all-inclusive, and our world is complicated, so our trouble and stress will become more. We often encounter this situation: a friend asks you to go out for fun, after the routine greetings, your topic will probably turn to the heavy work load. Your friend and you may complain incessantly and a happy afternoon is ruined. The dissatisfaction accumulated in one’s heart is perhaps due to the stubbornness. Everybody has one side of stubbornness, which is hard to change when it rages.
The loss of the sense of humor is a sign of stubbornness. Suppose you have quarreled with your companion. Another person comes over and makes a joke on you, but you rage against him and shout at him. Joking is sort of rest and relaxation in life. Your inability to sense the humor and getting angry because of your bad temper show that you have lost your sense of humor utterly. You should realize that it is your stubbornness that makes trouble.
It also shows your stubbornness by that you cannot cooperate with others. A lot of work attributes to cooperation, and the power of the group should not be ignored. No matter how bad is a person in your eyes, you cannot neglect his competence. Everyone will play his role at his own position. Your stubbornness blinds your eyes and obscures the fact. You should pay attention to this point.
Your stubbornness makes nothing satisfy you. You believe that everything should be perfect. You assess others with “not so satisfactory” because you thing yourself is the most excellent. So I should say that do not always pursue the perfect stubbornly. Can you feel delight when everything around you is defective?

Even if you win with your toughness, you will still suffer a lot of pain. Sometimes it is others’ fault, but we should try to communicate with them and see the issues from another angle. Making compromise does not mean you are weak. Instead it indicates your tolerance. So we should learn to abandon our stubbornness and free ourselves.

In order to land successfully, penguins have to dive three meters more first, and then make use of the buoyancy of the sea water to jump up suddenly out of the hole. In the group of penguins, the leader penguin has to take responsibility. It not only judges where the hole is exactly, but also needs the courage to guide others.
One of the natural enemies of the penguin is the seal. Clever seals will wait around the hole where penguins come out after they have found it, and seize the chance to catch them. The leader penguin comes out of the water like a bullet, flies over the head of the seal and escapes quickly. At this time it will not makes a noise. Then other penguins come out, following closely. Some fly over the seal’s head, and some slip away by the seal. The seal will open its mouth and prey the penguins under its eyes. Those who are not so lucky will become its feast.

It is because if it issues the warning, others will be in a panic. They fear to come out and get trapped in the dangerous sea. Therefore they may face more hazards and loss. Listen to the rain
Recently, the rain has come unexpectedly now and then. Though I have an umbrella, I never take it. One probable reason is that the rain here comes without any evidence. I cannot decide on which day it will rain and bringing the umbrella every day seems too troublesome for me. So, I have been caught in the rain several times. But actually, I like the rain.
I like enjoying the rhythm of the rain. If you are sensitive and attentive enough, you will find on rainy days, the noise of traffic cannot prevail any more, and instead you only feel the sound of nature. Personally, I prefer tranquility to liveliness. Some people dislike rainy days, because the rain leaves them the impression of gloom. The sky is grey, and the ground is obscure. But I just like the exact feeling. This kind of feeling calms me down. At this time, I always stand at the balcony, staring at somewhere. There is nothing disturbing me, so I can be easily lost into thoughts. I was born with the melancholy personality. Maybe I have the potential to become a philosopher.
The rain in my hometown usually comes in a mild and gentle way. In contrast, the rain here comes more fiercely, along with threatening thunder and lightning. Sometimes it is useless though you have an umbrella, because you will get wet anyway. Due to the poor quality of the lightning arrester of our hostel, when it comes to this time, a power cut will definitely occur. My roommate complained to me that he had nothing to do. I told him“you can have a good sleep, or you can recall your sweet memories to the rhythm of the rain. Don’t always bury yourself in work.”If you just keep walking in your life, you may ignore some beauty of life. You need time to taste, to enjoy life. The rain, just provides the precious chance. Have a rest, so you can be more energetic in your next journey. Listen to the rain.

Reflections on basketball match
We have just finished a semifinal basketball match against group 6, which is the No.1 of team B (we are in team A) .The result is that we defeated them. So far we have had 4 matches, but here I do not want to describe the process of matches. I would like to share some of my thoughts.
Initially, what I want to say is, no matter what your opponent is like, you should pay your full attention and try your best to confront them. Our first match is against group 5. Comparatively, they are not so competitive. Nonetheless I still played my best and treated them seriously. This is not because we want a complete triumph, but it is to show our respect to our opponent. If we appear too relaxed and careless, that is arrogant. And to some extent they also command our esteem. They kept fighting to the last minute. Meantime, they changed several tactics to cope with our crazy offense.
Then what we need is courage and decisiveness. Whenever you have the chance to shoot, do not let it off. Trust yourself and you will make it. But it does not mean that you do not cooperate with your teammate. Teamwork is a key point we should never forget. Bear in mind that one person does not make a team. We watch basketball not only because of the extraordinary individual performance, but also the fluent teamwork. Basketball requires the competence that one can find the chance to let others score a goal.
Another essential part is making thorough preparation. We won the previous two matches easily, so we had no provision for the third. Therefore, we encountered a failure this time. Our opponent had exerted perfect tactics. Having learned a lesson from this, we prepared well for the semifinal match and as our expectation, we won.
There is only one match we will have, which is the final match. No matter what the result will be, let us try our best, so that we will not be regretful. Again, I wish we could have good luck!
